This beautiful lace cap hydrangea grows in the gardens of Rosehaven Cottage (home of Dusting in Pearls).  Years ago, I found it at our local hardware store in a basket of plants to be thrown away because it was withering from lack of water.  I asked if I could buy it at a discount, brought it home, and it is now a large bush that brings me joy every May when its lovely white blossoms tinged with blue seem like a "thank you" for saving it.
