I planted a "Santa Rosa" plum tree the first spring after moving in the Rosehaven Cottage (home of Dusting in Pearls).  It is always one of the first indicators that spring is here.  I love to sit under the tree at that time and look up through all the branches covered with white blossoms and look at them against the blue sky.
